Johns Creek is a city of over 76,000 people, enjoying the vibrant lifestyle of a growing, optimistic, well run city. The scenic Chattahoochee River has multiple places where paddlers can put in or take out their boats. Several festivals dot the calendar, including Founders Week in December, to celebrate the incorporation of the City. The Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association has thousands of members and is one of the oldest organized recreation leagues in the US. Among six golf courses in Johns Creek, the renowned Atlanta Athletic Club was home to the 2011 PGA Championship, and to the 2014 U.S. Amateur.
